Job summary

ES RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. seeks a Systems Executive (Electro-Optics) for a 1 year project- renewable assignment based at Thomson Road / AMK.

You will support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electro-optics and surveillance systems deployed across customer sites and vessels. This hands-on role requires an ITE certificate or diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, a Singapore Class 3 driving licence and a willingness to perform 24×7 rotational standby duties,

Qualifications

• ITE certificate or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
• Willing to perform 24×7 rotational standby duties.
• Comfortable with offshore locations and working at height.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a technical team.
• Cat 2A security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Support preventive and corrective maintenance of Electro-Optics and surveillance systems at customer sites and vessels.
• Perform system troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and failure analysis to identify root causes.
• Diagnose and repair Electro-Optics equipment in the laboratory using systematic troubleshooting approaches.
• Support system setup, testing, installation and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate maintenance with customers and prepare fault reports for project meetings.
• Provide rotational 24×7 standby support and respond to emergency fault recovery.
• Assist field service activities at various locations, including offshore environments and at height.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned by supervisor.

Be Part of a Technical Team Supporting Advanced Electro-Optics & Surveillance Systems

We are looking for a hands‑on Systems Executive (Electro-Optics) to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Electro-Optics and surveillance systems deployed across various sites and vessels.

This role is ideal for candidates with a technical background in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering who enjoy field‑based troubleshooting, equipment repair and working with sophisticated surveillance technologies.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support preventive and corrective maintenance of Electro-Optics and surveillance systems at customer sites and vessels.
• Perform system troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and failure analysis to identify the root cause of equipment/system failures.
• Diagnose and repair Electro-Optics equipment in the laboratory using systematic, logical troubleshooting approaches.
• Support system setup, testing, installation and commissioning activities.
• Liaise directly with customers to coordinate maintenance and service activities.
• Prepare and maintain fault reports and technical documentation for monthly project meetings.
• Perform rotational 24×7 standby support and respond to emergency fault recovery requirements when required.
• Support field service activities at various locations, including offshore environments and work‑at‑height situations.
• Perform other technical duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Minimum ITE Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Willing and able to perform 24×7 rotational standby duties.
• Comfortable working at offshore locations and at height.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Able to work independently as well as effectively within a technical team.
• Cat 2A security clearance is required.

Good to Have

• Prior experience supporting Electro-Optics systems, surveillance systems, CCTV, cameras, sensors or related equipment.
• Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, system installation or technical troubleshooting.
• Experience with electrical/electronic equipment repair and fault diagnosis.
