Responsibilities
Translate operational requirements into technical specifications and lead the systems engineering process from concept to deployment.
Define system architecture, functional requirements, and performance specifications for advanced laser and electro-optics systems.
Design systems considering electrical, thermal management, mechanical stability and safety compliance.
Lead multidisciplinary development activities and ensure technical alignment across all subsystems.
Lead prototyping, testing, and integration of electronics, mechanical, optical and software subsystems into a coherent system.
Conduct and oversee system-level testing, validation, and field deployment to ensure that performance and operational requirements are met.
Develop and maintain comprehensive and accurate technical documentation, including design records, test reports, and validation data, ensuring compliance with configuration management and industry standards.
Qualifications
Knowledge in Systems Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in systems engineering of advanced laser or electro-optics systems.
Proven experience in requirements engineering, system design reviews, and verification/validation plans.
Solid understanding of optics, lasers, and electro-optical systems to effectively lead system integration and design decisions.
Familiarity with systems engineering practices including requirements traceability, interface definition, and verification planning.
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, thermal and safety considerations in advanced laser and electro-optics design.
Hands‑on experience in advanced laser and electro‑optics performance testing.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working across engineering domains.
Proficiency in optical design tools and simulation software.
Strong leadership and technical coordination across multi-disciplinary teams.
