Job summary

TRD SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on leader to oversee the system engineering and integration of our anti-drone systems, spanning portable, fixed-site, and mobile platforms. You will manage the technical heartbeat of our products, ensuring hardware, software and security work together.

Lead the engineering team, drive C2 software development, coordinate with R&D and production, and ensure high defense standards are met through strong documentation and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 8–10 years in systems engineering, preferably aerospace/defense.
• 3–5 years in direct leadership or management overseeing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with Command and Control (C2) systems, sensor and target fusion.
• Preferred certifications: INCOSE CSEP and PMP.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team to design high-performance anti-drone platforms for portable, fixed, and mobile use.
• Oversee the Command and Control software linking sensors with counter-drone technology.
• Manage cybersecurity team to meet cybersecurity needs and protect data servers.
• Oversee creation of technical manuals, architectures, and compliance records.
• Translate customer needs into technical plans ensuring high quality and defense standards.
• Collaborate with R&D, Cyber, and production to move projects forward.

The Role

We are looking for a hands‑on leader to oversee the system engineering and integration of our anti‑drone systems. You will manage the technical heartbeat of our products, from portable, fixed site to mobile anti‑drone systems - ensuring hardware, software, and security work perfectly together.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Design:Lead the engineering team in building high-performance anti-drone platforms for portable, fixed, mobile including vehicle use.
2. C2 Management:Oversee the "Command and Control" software that connects passive and active sensors with drone-stopping technology.
3. Cyber & IT Security:Manage the cybersecurity team to fulfil cybersecurity needs and maintain data servers that powers the anti-drone system.
4. Technical Documentation:Oversee the creation and maintenance of high-quality technical manuals, system architectures, and compliance records for all products.
5. Technical Standards:Turn customer needs into clear technical plans and ensure every product meets high quality and defense standards.
6. Team Collaboration:Work closely with R&D, Cyber, and production teams to keep projects moving and solve technical roadblocks.

Qualifications & Requirements

1.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering,ComputerScience,SystemsEngineering, or a related technical discipline.

2. Minimum Experience:

• At least8 to 10 yearsof experience in systems engineering, preferably within theaerospace or defensesectors.
• A minimum of3 to 5 yearsin a directleadership or managementrole overseeing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

3. Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience withCommand and Control (C2)systems, sensor and target fusion.

4. Certifications(Preferred):

• Systems Engineering:INCOSE CSEP (Certified SystemsEngineering Professional).
• Project Management: Project Management Professional
