What The Role Is
Manage Front End Engineering Design and Acquisition of a mission-critical maritime Command & Control (C2) systems involving multi-subsystem integration including fusion, AI, surveillance, communications, and inter-agency data sharing. C3/C4I systems, unmanned systems, wireless communications, coastal surveillance radar, Electro-optics systems, fusion and sensemaking platform, AI-enabled surveillance, GIS-enabled command platforms, and system-of-systems architecture.
What You Will Be Working On
- Manage Front End Engineering Design from initiation till acquisition.
- Lead requirements engineering, stakeholder workshops, and feasibility studies, market survey, option evaluation and cost evaluation.
- Consider deployment approach a multi-site environments cross vessels, command centres.
- Translate operational needs into Technical, Integration, Cybersecurity and Governance specifications, and tender documents.
- Manage procurement, RFI, and tender evaluation
- Ability to design system-of-systems architecture
- Understand end-to-end data flow from sensors to command interface
- Perform trade-off analysis, scalability design, and performance modelling
- Define integration interfaces and interoperability requirements Candidates must have experience in development/integration of modern C2 systems involving: Multi-sensor data fusion (radar, EO, AIS, CCTV)
- AI / Video Analytics for surveillance
- Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and command centre systems
- Cybersecurity design and secure system implementation
- Surveillance and sensor systems
- System infrastructure and distributed architecture design
- Network design and bandwidth computation
- GIS systems and geospatial data layering
- Inter-agency data sharing and integration (APIs, secure exchange)
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in Engineering / IT / Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 6 years experience in managing large-scale ICT/engineering projects
- Experience across full project lifecycle
- Experience managing multiple vendors including MNCs
- PMP / CITPM or equivalent preferred
- All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
