Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED in Singapore is seeking an IT infrastructure professional with hands-on experience in virtualization, cloud orchestration, automation, and security.

You will design, install and maintain virtualization platforms, automate configuration, manage load balancing, and enforce security policies. Proficiency in scripting (bash, Python, PowerShell), Linux distributions (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) and version control is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with at least two virtualization platforms such as VMware, Xen, KVM, OpenStack, Cloud Stack or Azure Stack.
• Experience with cloud orchestration, configuration management and auto-scaling techniques.
• Experience with automation tools such as Salt, Chef, Puppet or Ansible.
• Experience with load balancing setup for TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and routing.
• Experience with software version control systems.
• Knowledge of IT security standards (e.g., CIS) and security policy enforcement.
• Knowledge of hardware components and restoring faulty servers.
• Experience coding or scripting (bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Ability to install and configure Linux OS (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Experience in system installation planning and execution.
