Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a System Software Engineer (Hardware Enabling Driver) to lead the design and development of system-level software and hardware-enabling drivers for cutting-edge platforms. You will guide cross-functional teams, collaborate with ODMs and IHVs, and drive innovations in system software architecture.

The role requires strong Windows OS and device driver experience, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to present architectures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 4–7 years of relevant work experience in systems engineering or programming; or an advanced degree with 3–5 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in software systems design tools and programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with Windows OS and device driver development.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple project teams of system software engineers and development partners through all phases of design and development, including solution design, analysis, testing, and integration.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with internal teams and external partners (ODMs, IHVs) for system software design and development.
• Review and assess designs and project activities for compliance with standards, providing actionable feedback to improve quality and reduce risk.
• Provide domain expertise and system software leadership across cross-functional projects and programs.
• Drive innovation and integrate emerging technologies into system software design and development.
