Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Software System Architect to lead the architecture, design and development of embedded software, firmware and application-level solutions for high‑performance security products.

The role requires defining system architecture, guiding technical decisions, mentoring engineers and ensuring successful product delivery while advancing secure coding, DevOps, CI/CD and robust testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in embedded systems/software development with architecture leadership.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, Rust, Python and Bash.
• Experience with Embedded Linux including kernel configuration and builds (Yocto/PetaLinux).
• Understanding of hardware-software integration and system debugging.
• Strong networking knowledge: Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, routing, switching, security.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment environments.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, GitLab and Docker.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end software architecture, system interfaces and technical roadmaps.
• Translate product requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable solutions.
• Design, develop, integrate and validate embedded software and firmware.
• Lead application-level software development, system integration, performance tuning and testing.
• Lead and mentor software engineers and conduct architecture, design, code and test reviews.
• Drive best practices in secure coding, DevOps, CI/CD and software engineering.
• Troubleshoot complex system and architectural issues and guide technical decisions.
• Collaborate with product/project teams, hardware engineers, vendors and customers.
• Maintain architecture/design documentation and ensure compliance with quality and cybersecurity standards.
