Job summary

Maestro Human Resource Pte Ltd is seeking a System Administrator to oversee Linux/UNIX environments, Windows servers, and virtualization platforms in Singapore. You will install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot systems, ensuring high availability and robust backups.

Collaboration with vendors and cross-team stakeholders is essential to deliver reliable IT services. The ideal candidate holds a BS/MS in CS/Engineering with hands-on experience across VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, Docker/containers,

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with server virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V).
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox).
• Knowledge of Linux distributions (RedHat, CentOS, Debian, Amazon Linux) and Windows Server 2019.
• Experience with monitoring systems.
• Strong documentation and SOP maintenance.
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP) is an added advantage.

• Defines customers’ needs and functionalities.

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX /Linux based or windows environments.
• Experience in Managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare, KVM or Microsoft Hyper-V
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)
• knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, Amazon Linux, etc; Windows Server 2019 will be an advantange
• Experience with monitoring systems
• Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks ) is an added advantage
• Experience with automation software is an added advantage
• Experience with networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) is an added advantage
