Job summary

KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, seeking a systems engineer to design multi-disciplinary systems and features. You will collaborate with design teams and subcontractors, and work with PMs to meet milestones, with hands-on lab development and on-site integration.

The role requires strong communication, system integration and troubleshooting skills, and willingness to travel across Asia to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of multi-disciplinary systems and features.
• Collaborating with multiple design teams within KLA and subcontractors.
• Working with product & Program Managers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Hands on development in a lab on an actual HW.
• Integration of sub-systems in a system.
• Planning and testing system for performance, troubleshooting and support for better performance, manufacturability and serviceability.
• Integrating system at customers site, providing ongoing support and service to the customer.

Minimum Qualifications

• Familiarity with multi-disciplinary (Mechanics, Electronics, Software, Algo) systems.
• Experience with robotics, motion or vision systems – Advantage.
• Proven experience in system engineering or a similar role.
• Proven experience in system integration, testing and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work with customers at customers site and provide service to customers.
• Ability and Willingness for a frequent traveling to customers sites across Asia.
• Proven experience in writing technical documentation, requirements documents, testing plans and reports.
• Minimum Qualifications BSc in Engineering or a related field.
• MSc/ME in Eng./Systems Eng – Advantage.
