Job summary

Ridik in Singapore is seeking an IT infrastructure specialist to troubleshoot and resolve OS and server issues across CentOS, Red Hat Linux and Windows Server environments. You will manage hardware servers, SAN storage, virtual machines, and related services, perform patches, update documentation, and handle Change Requests (CR) to ensure stable production and UAT environments.

Knowledge of AWS data transfers and VMware operations will be valued, with opportunities to contribute to ongoing

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve Linux OS and Windows Server issues (CentOS, Red Hat)
• Maintain hardware servers, SAN storage, virtual machines, and other infrastructure services
• Create and update Change Requests (CR) documents
• Execute data patches and retrieve data for UAT and Production environments
• Use AWS for data file transfers
• Update technical documentation regularly to reflect changes and improvements
• Manage VMware environments, including patching, updates, and root password recovery
• Install and configure CentOS Linux OS in hardware hypervisor hosts and virtual machines
