Job summary

EVOLUTION RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. seeks a System Analyst with 3+ years in banking/financial services to translate business requirements into detailed specifications and support delivery from initiation to post-implementation.

You will collaborate with business users, analysts, developers, and vendors; review designs, SIT/UAT plans, and ensure alignment with SDLC standards while delivering frontline production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Analyst in banking/financial services.
• Experience with Retail Banking, Consumer Banking, Wealth Management, or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users, BAs, developers, vendors, and stakeholders from initiation to post-implementation support.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, propose solutions, and recommend best practices to meet objectives.
• Translate requirements into FSD, TSD, and RTM documents.
• Review designs, technical specs, and effort estimates for alignment with requirements.
• Support project planning by assessing change requests and prioritizing enhancements.
• Review SIT plans, test scenarios, and cases to ensure coverage and quality.
• Support SIT, UAT, and post-implementation testing activities and issue resolution.
• Validate vendor code releases against approved specs.
• Maintain system documentation per governance standards.
• Provide Level 3 production support and drive root-cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Business Users, Business Analysts, developers, vendors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to post-implementation support.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, propose solution options, and recommend best practices to achieve business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into detailed Functional Specifications (FSD), Technical Design Specifications (TSD), and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).
• Review solution designs, technical specifications, and effort estimates to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Support project planning by assessing change requests, prioritizing enhancements, and contributing to solution design discussions.
• Review System Integration Testing (SIT) plans, test scenarios, and test cases to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Support SIT, UAT, and post-implementation testing activities, ensuring successful delivery and issue resolution.
• Validate vendor code releases to ensure compliance with approved functional and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate system documentation in accordance with established delivery methodologies and governance standards.
• Provide post-production monitoring, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure timely resolution of production incidents.
• Deliver Level 3 production support by diagnosing application issues, identifying root causes, and working with development and architecture teams to implement technical solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application stability, system performance, and delivery quality.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Analyst within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong experience supporting Retail Banking, Consumer Banking, Wealth Management, Customer Management, Sales Incentives, or Branch Banking systems.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, solution design, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience creating Functional Specifications (FSD), Technical Design Specifications (TSD), and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).
• Experience with interface specifications, system integration, and data mapping.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and application delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with Oracle SQL is preferred; Java and Wealth Management system experience would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand complex business and technical requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to drive requirements workshops and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• A collaborative team player with good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Bahasa or Mandarin would be an advantage.
