Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is seeking a senior payments solutions specialist to lead technical analysis for regional cross-border payment projects. You will translate business requirements into scalable designs and oversee end-to-end architecture, implementation and post-deployment support.

You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure solutions meet functional requirements, industry best practices and project objectives, while driving documentation, testing strategies and production

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of CBPR+ standards for cross-border payments and reporting.
• Familiarity with MEPS+ MAS Electronic Payment System and domestic settlement processes.
• Solid understanding of SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 MX messaging and end-to-end payment flows.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical analysis for regional payment solutions and translate requirements into scalable designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to align solutions with project objectives.
• Develop and maintain technical specs and design documentation, evaluating alternatives for performance and reliability.
• Oversee vendor deliverables and QA activities across tests and production readiness.

Summary:

Job Scope:

• Lead technical analysis for regional payment solutions, translating business requirements into scalable technical designs while overseeing end-to-end system architecture, solution implementation, and post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to design, review, and optimise technical solutions, ensuring alignment with functional requirements, industry best practices, and project objectives.
• Develop, review, and maintain technical specifications and design documentation, while evaluating and recommending alternative solutions to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Oversee vendor deliverables and quality assurance activities, including the review of technical designs, test strategies, and execution across Unit Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, SIT, UAT, and production readiness.
• Analyse and improve SDLC processes by identifying enhancement opportunities, supporting project testing and implementation, and providing continuous recommendations and progress reporting to Project Managers and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Cross-Border Payments and Reporting Plus (CBPR+) standards, payment messaging, and cross-border payment processing.
• Familiarity with MEPS+ (MAS Electronic Payment System) and domestic payment clearing and settlement processes.
• Solid understanding of SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 MX message standards, including message mapping, migration strategies, and end-to-end payment flows.
