Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is seeking a senior technical lead to manage regional payment solution analysis and translate business requirements into scalable system designs. You will oversee end-to-end architecture, implementation, and post-deployment support, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

The role requires deep knowledge of cross-border payment standards, SWIFT messaging, and MEPS+ with responsibility for documentation, design reviews, and process improvements across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cross-border payments standards and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with MEPS+ and domestic clearance processes.
• Solid understanding of SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 MX messaging and end-to-end payment flows.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical analysis for regional payment solutions and translate requirements into scalable designs.

• Develop and maintain technical specifications and review alternate solutions for performance and reliability.
• Oversee vendor deliverables, QA activities, and test strategies across multiple testing stages.

Summary:

Job Scope:

• Lead technical analysis for regional payment solutions, translating business requirements into scalable technical designs while overseeing end-to-end system architecture, solution implementation, and post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to design, review, and optimise technical solutions, ensuring alignment with functional requirements, industry best practices, and project objectives.
• Develop, review, and maintain technical specifications and design documentation, while evaluating and recommending alternative solutions to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Oversee vendor deliverables and quality assurance activities, including the review of technical designs, test strategies, and execution across Unit Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, SIT, UAT, and production readiness.
• Analyse and improve SDLC processes by identifying enhancement opportunities, supporting project testing and implementation, and providing continuous recommendations and progress reporting to Project Managers and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Cross-Border Payments and Reporting Plus (CBPR+) standards, payment messaging, and cross-border payment processing.
• Familiarity with MEPS+ (MAS Electronic Payment System) and domestic payment clearing and settlement processes.
• Solid understanding of SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 MX message standards, including message mapping, migration strategies, and end-to-end payment flows.
