Job summary

SCIENTE seeks a System Analyst (Java) to design, develop, and integrate scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate and modern web frameworks. The role spans front-end and back-end work across multiple environments and databases.

The candidate will translate user requirements into detailed specifications, build responsive UIs with Angular/React/PrimeFaces/JSF, and deploy on JBoss/WebLogic/WebSphere with strong SOA web services knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology required.
• Experience gathering and analysing user requirements and translating them into application specifications.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate and JPA.
• Experience building responsive UI with Angular, React, PrimeFaces or JSF.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services in SOA.
• Experience with application servers (JBoss/WildFly, WebLogic, WebSphere).
• Hands-on with Azure cloud services and deployment.
• Experience in unit testing, code reviews and best practices.

Responsibilities

Mandatory Skill-set

• Must have 5 years of experience as a Java Developer;
• Must have a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology;
• Experience gathering and analysing user requirements and translating them into application specifications;
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA;
• Experience building responsive user interfaces using Angular, React, PrimeFaces, or JSF;
• Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services within Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA);
• Experience working with application servers such as JBoss (WildFly), WebLogic, and WebSphere;

• Good knowledge of application performance optimization and scalability across Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms.

Desired Skill-set
