Job summary

SCIENTE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a System Analyst (JAVA) to contribute hands-on to enterprise-level application development using Java, Spring, Hibernate and modern web frameworks across front-end and back-end layers.

You will gather requirements, design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications, build responsive interfaces with Angular or React, and integrate RESTful and SOAP services within SOA on multiple app servers.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology.
• Experience gathering and analysing user requirements and translating them into specifications.
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Experience building responsive UIs using Angular, React, PrimeFaces, or JSF.
• Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services within SOA.
• Experience with application servers such as JBoss/WildFly, WebLogic, and WebSphere.
• Experience in unit testing and code reviews; follow best practices.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and scalability across Linux/Unix/Windows.

Job Summary

This System Analyst (JAVA) role is hands-on in enterprise-level application development using JAVA, Spring, Hibernate, and modern web frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and integrating scalable applications using both front-end and back-end technologies, working across various environments and databases.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Must have 5 years of experience as a Java Developer;
• Must have Diploma or Degree in Information Technology;
• Experience gathering and analysing user requirements and translating them into application specifications;
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA;
• Experience building responsive user interfaces using Angular, React, PrimeFaces, or JSF;
• Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services within Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA);
• Experience working with application servers such as JBoss (WildFly), WebLogic, and WebSphere;
• Experience in unit testing, code reviews, and following software development best practices;
• Good knowledge of application performance optimization and scalability across Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms

Desired Skill-set

• Experience integrating messaging systems such as IBM MQ and rules engines;
• Exposure to Apache Spark and related data processing technologies;
• Experience using development tools such as Eclipse, NetBeans, or JDeveloper.
