Job summary

Unknown in Singapore is seeking an experienced Java/J2EE developer to join our development team. You will maintain and enhance applications, implement new features, troubleshoot live issues, and provide workable solutions.

You will design and develop applications per specifications, perform design, programming, testing, UAT support, and documentation in line with quality processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and timely deployments are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in J2EE, Struts, WebLogic.
• Proficient in JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX/JSON.
• Experience with Oracle 12c/11g, PL/SQL.
• Familiar with ALM tools.

Responsibilities

Job description

Scope of Work

• Work in the development team to:
• Maintain and enhance the application which includes implementing new enhancements to the applications, troubleshoot live issues to identify causes of the problems, and providing workable solutions to fix the issues.
• Design and develop the application according to the specifications provided.
• Perform design, programming, integration, system testing, assist users in User Acceptance Test (UAT), and documentation in compliance with Quality Management System.
• See-through all enhancements and fixes to ensure they are properly deployed to the testing and live environment within the agreed time. That includes working with the end-users, server administrators, database administrators, and system analysts supporting the IT systems.

Critical Requirements

• a) Must have at least 3 years of good working knowledge in the following areas:
• J2EE, Struts, Weblogic
• JSP, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX/JSON
• Oracle 12C and Oracle 11g R2, PL/SQL
• ALM
• b) Must have good communication skills and the ability to:
• Understand and communicate in English, in speech, and in writing.
• Work with other members in a dynamic and fast-moving team.
• Work independently with minimum supervision.

Other Requirements

• It will be advantageous to have good working knowledge in the following areas:
• Development experience using Azure App Services, Spring Cloud, Tomcat, MS SQL, Azure DevOps
• Spring MVC, Hibernate
