Job summary

Avensys is seeking a System Analyst (File Transfer, Java API) to join our Singapore-based team. You will manage and optimize file transfer processes, integrate Java APIs, and ensure reliable system operations within a one-year renewable contract.

The role focuses on implementing EFT workflows, monitoring performance, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues, while upholding security and efficiency across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science, Computing, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of IT work experience.
• Knowledge of file transfer and security technologies (e.g., SFTP, file encryption).
• Knowledge of Java Web Applications development and JEE frameworks.
• Knowledge of COTS and tools listed for EAI-MFT.
• Knowledge of XML, Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL query language.
• Knowledge of Windows administration, scripting and UNIX/LINUX cron.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Perform system patching, application deployment and reporting.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Monitor and test application performance for bottlenecks and coordinate fixes with developers.
• Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower manual interventions.
• Perform SLIFT key/ SFTP Password/ SSL and RDP Cert changes.
• Maintain the list of software inventory.
