Hitec Sourcing Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Software Support/Developer to maintain and enhance web applications, gathering requirements from business users and implementing system improvements. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years’ experience in relevant technologies (VB6, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, JavaScript) and databases (Oracle, SQL Server).

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with at least 1-2 years’ of relevant experience.
• Experience with VB6, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, J2EE and JavaScript.
• Hands on experience with Oracle & SQL Server databases: SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Access VBA is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in SQL Server Reporting Services is an added advantage.
• Working hours: 8am to 5.15pm, 5 days a week.
• Working location: Yishun, Singapore.

Key Job Accountabilities (Actual daily deliverables):

• To support and maintain business web applications.

• To discuss with business users to understand business requirements for systems enhancements.

• To provide enhancement to the systems based on time to time business needs.

Responsibilities:

• To maintain and enhance operation web applications.

• To write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc.

• To Investigate and resolve application functionality with vendor, if enhancement is needed.

• To assist in troubleshooting software application issues.

• Reporting Relationships (Who this job reports to; Who reports to this job):

• This position reports to Manager.

Required Experience and Qualifications (Required knowledge, skills and experience---however acquired):

• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with at least 1-2 years’ of relevant experience

• Experiences in Platforms like VB6, ASP.Net, VB.Net, VB.net and Oracle and C#.net with J2EE & JavaScript are required.

• Hands on experience in Oracle & SQL Server databases SQL queries and stored procedures.

• Knowledge in Microsoft Access VBA will be added advantage.

• Knowledge in SQL Server Reporting Service will be added advantage.
