Job summary

Hitec Sourcing Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Software Support/Developer to maintain and enhance web applications, gathering requirements from business users and implementing system improvements. The role involves supporting operations and documenting procedures, with vendor coordination when enhancements are needed.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years’ experience in relevant technologies (VB6, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, JavaScript) and databases (Oracle, SQL Server).

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with at least 1-2 years’ of relevant experience.
Experience with VB6, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, J2EE and JavaScript.
Hands on experience with Oracle & SQL Server databases: SQL queries and stored procedures.
Knowledge in Microsoft Access VBA is an added advantage.
Knowledge in SQL Server Reporting Services is an added advantage.
Working hours: 8am to 5.15pm, 5 days a week.
Working location: Yishun, Singapore.

Responsibilities

To support and maintain business web applications.
To discuss with business users to understand business requirements for systems enhancements.
To provide enhancements to the systems based on business needs as they arise.
To write technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations and user guides.
To investigate and resolve application functionality with vendors if enhancements are needed.
To assist in troubleshooting software application issues.
