Job summary

Epic Swim is seeking a Learn to Swim Coach in Singapore who is passionate about educating children through sports. You will coach Learn to Swim and Swim PE classes for children 2.5 years and up, reporting to the General Manager and joining a dedicated team of coaches.

No prior teaching or swimming experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. A strong focus on coaching skills, regular workshops, and active participation in the coaches community are expected.

Qualifications

• NO PRIOR TEACHING OR SWIMMING EXPERIENCE NEEDED!
• Passion for sports. Swim experience preferred but not required as all training will be provided
• Passion for teaching young children with the ability to take care of them.
• Demonstrated team player with an open mindset to learning and improving
• Fluent in English and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Required to attend Epic Swim's in-house training program and fulfill 52 hours of coaching practical attachment. Attachment hours will be paid.

Responsibilities

• Coach Learn to Swim students according our Epic Swim curriculum.
• Coach Swim Physical Education students according our Epic Swim curriculum.
• Attend Epic Swim's in-house training program and attach to senior coaches prior to coaching independently.
• Provide timely feedback to parents on the progress of their child, and record student log.
• Attend regular workshops and courses, and use the learnings to continuously improve coaching skills.
• Fulfil administrative tasks related to the program; e.g. meet entries, attendance report, student performance tracking, and minutes of attended workshops.
• Maintain a professional image as an ambassador of the Epic Swim brand.
• Participate actively in our coaches community.
