Job summary

OM MATERIALS (S) PTE LTD is seeking a meticulous Sustainability Specialist to join the team in Singapore. You will drive and support the group’s sustainability reporting, ESG compliance, data governance, and emissions reporting, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Role involves monitoring ISSB/IFRS, GRI, and regulatory developments, preparing disclosures, and supporting supplier ESG due diligence, CBAM, and materiality assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sustainability reporting, ESG, compliance, audit/assurance, risk management or related field.
• Strong understanding of ISSB/IFRS and GRI.
• Knowledge of GHG Protocol and carbon accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical, data management and attention-to-detail skills.
• Resourceful, proactive and well-organised.
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders across the Group.
• Effective written and oral communication in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainability reporting and ensure disclosures meet standards.
• Monitor Bursa Malaysia, ISSB/IFRS, GRI and assess impact.
• Coordinate collection, consolidation, validation and maintenance of sustainability data.
• Assist with Sustainability Statement, Annual Report and ESG disclosures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on governance, risk management and materiality.
• Support supplier ESG due diligence and CBAM requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors on reporting and verification.
• Assist with GHG emissions accounting (Scope 1-3).
• Act as Secretariat to the Sustainability Management Committee.
• Provide updates on emerging ESG requirements.
• Support ESG stakeholder queries and projects.
