Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of related experience in science or laboratory settings.
• Hands-on experience with ICP, XRF, GC, KF and other measurement tools.
• Knowledge of government policies and licenses regarding EHS.
• Ability to start work on short notice.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for upcycling and making an impact.

Responsibilities

• Be a team leader in our Quantitative Analysis Laboratory.
• Conduct sample preparations and analytical measurements in accordance with standard procedures.
• Laboratory administration and management of reagents, apparatus, equipment and other consumables.
• Be part of our investigative Green chemistry team researching more sustainability methods of treating hazardous wastes.
• Comply with the Safety Standards in the lab.
• Be part of the ISO team, in routine record management and annual certification.
