Job summary

NTU in Singapore seeks a Laboratory Manager to coordinate procurement, inventories and maintenance for the Asian School of the Environment. You will train students and researchers on instruments and ensure safety compliance across facilities.

Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day lab operations, asset tracking, servicing schedules, and contributing to risk assessments and lab safety. A Bachelor degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science or equivalent.
• Experience in chemical/biological lab settings and safety.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and chemical management.
• Ability to train and support students and researchers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of chemicals, consumables and equipment.
• Maintain chemical inventories and equipment service records.
• Provide training and technical support on analytical instruments.
• Support laboratory safety, inspections and risk assessments.
• Contribute to efficient day-to-day operation of facilities.
