Job summary

The Singapore Environment Council (SEC) is seeking a Senior/Executive, Client Engagement & Business Development to grow SEC's certification and sustainability services. You will build relationships with clients and partners, identify opportunities, and contribute to meaningful environmental outcomes.

This role is an individual contributor with sales targets, requiring strong communication, proposal drafting, and cross-functional collaboration to support agreements and event outreach.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in client engagement, business development, account management, sales, partnerships, or related functions.
• Experience in sustainability, certification, compliance, environmental services or consulting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Achieve individual sales targets across SEC's certification, sustainability and advisory service offerings.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, outreach activities, industry events and presentations.
• Draft, format and coordinate business agreements, MOUs, partnership proposals and related documents.
• Coordinate meetings, schedules and follow-up actions for the Deputy Director, Client Engagement.
