Job summary

Haixin Energy Technology International Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Sustainability Coordinator to support sustainability management for renewable fuels trading.

You will collaborate with internal teams and our China headquarters to enhance sustainability performance and ensure documentation accuracy. The role requires 1–3 years in sustainability management, a degree in a related field, and strong English skills; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, energy, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in sustainability management, certification systems, or documentation operations.
• Strong command of English; Mandarin would be an advantage for cross-border collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainability management for renewable fuels and biofuels trading by conducting annual sustainability audits, managing certification processes, and verifying carbon emissions data.
• Manage and maintain sustainability documentation to ensure compliance with international certification schemes (e.g., ISCC) and regulatory requirements.
• Calculate and verify greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data related to biofuels and feedstock supply chains.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve sustainability performance and ensure supply chain compliance.
• Communicate and coordinate regularly with the China-based headquarters on sustainability, trading operations, documentation, and business matters.
• Provide operational support to traders by preparing documentation, following up on contracts, and coordinating with logistics providers and counterparties.
• Participate in technical discussions and industry exchanges to deepen knowledge of sustainability regulations and renewable fuels markets.
• Coordinate with internal departments and support cross-functional and ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Provide administrative support for the Singapore office, including office coordination, vendor liaison, and general administrative duties.

Required competencies and certifications

• Good command of English. Mandarin communication skills would be an advantage, as the role involves regular communication with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and business stakeholders, including the Company’s China-based headquarters.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related disciplines
• 1–3 years of experience in sustainability management, certification systems, documentation operations, or a related field

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of renewable fuels, biofuels, or feedstock sustainability regulations and certification schemes such as ISCC, RED II/RED III
• Familiarity with greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting or sustainability reporting
• Strong documentation management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team; proactive and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
