Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an IT applications support specialist to provide end-user assistance for MS Office, Windows, and Glovia. The role includes email administration, user training, and collaborating with vendors for PC setup and security configuration.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot application issues, create basic training materials, and support IT documentation under the IT Manager. Occasional travel for on-site support is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide applications support to end users (e.g., MS Office, Windows, Glovia).
• Assist in creating report templates and customization in Glovia.
• Provide primary support for email administration, including user creation and training.
• Assign User IDs and Passwords to determine security levels for applications.
• Provide secondary support to Helpdesk and End User support for PCs, laptops, hardware, and software.
• Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions for application problems.
• Provide basic training to users for applications (Glovia, Endpoint, VPN, O365).
• Coordinate PC creation, liaise with vendors, and manage vendors.
• Assist IT Manager in project management and IT documentation.
• Complete ad hoc tasks as delegated by IT Manager.
• Travel to company site for on-site support.

• Assist in creating report templates and customization in Glovia.

• Primary support for email administration, including user creation, password assignment, and user training on email usage.

• Assist in assigning User IDs and Passwords to determine the level of security to be attached to all applications.

• Provide secondary support to Helpdesk and End User support for PCs, laptops, hardware, and software.

• Responsible for problem troubleshooting and developing solutions pertaining to problems encountered in applications.

• Provide basic training to users for applications (e.g., Glovia, Endpoint, VPN, O365, etc.).

• Responsible for PC creation, liaising with vendors, and managing vendors.

• Responsible for assisting the IT Manager in Project Management, IT documentation, etc.

• Responsible for completing ad hoc tasks as delegated by the IT Manager.

• Required to travel to company site for on-site support.

Requirements

• Hands-on expert-level experience with two or more of the following, and strong understanding of the remaining technologies:

  • OS Administration (Linux/Windows, etc.)

  • OS Installation (Linux/Windows, etc.)

  • Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

  • OS Installation/Administration experience

  • Virtualization (VMware, Hypervisor, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of Networking, Security, and Infrastructure

  • Basic knowledge of ERP, MES

• Demonstrated strong troubleshooting and investigative skills.
