Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
• Proven procurement experience, preferably within food trading, FMCG trading, or related industries. Strong expertise in international sourcing and supplier negotiation.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience in managing procurement teams is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Supplier Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with sales forecasts and company growth objectives.
• Source and evaluate local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing and ensure reliable supply chains; negotiate pricing, payment terms, rebates, and contracts to optimize cost savings and improve margins.
• Build and sustain strong supplier partnerships for long-term supply stability.
• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations focusing on pricing, quality, delivery, and compliance.
• Purchasing & Supply Planning: Manage end-to-end procurement from requisition to shipment; plan purchasing volumes based on demand forecasts and schedules.
• Analyze market trends, commodity price changes, and currency fluctuations to inform purchasing decisions.
• Ensure timely stock replenishment to avoid shortages while minimizing excess inventory and product expiry risks.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Maintain optimal inventory levels to support healthy stock turnover.
• Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and margin enhancement.
• Monitor and report key procurement KPIs including cost savings, supplier reliability, lead times, and inventory aging.
• Oversee product specifications, costing structures, and packaging standards to ensure quality and compliance.
