Job summary

Seagate Technology in Singapore is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Recording Media Operations team. You will directly supervise Operators and oversee daily manufacturing to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.

You will drive lean manufacturing with Kaizen and 6S, coach a team, provide feedback, and collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency while ensuring a safe working environment.

Recording Media Operations (RMO) is a core manufacturing team responsible for producing the magnetic media used in Seagate’s hard drives. Operating in a high‑volume, advanced manufacturing environment, the team drives innovations in media technology while delivering excellence in quality, safety, and operational efficiency through strong cross-functional collaboration.

About the role - you will:

The Recording Media Operations team is looking for Production Supervisor. In this position, you will be responsible for direct supervision of the Operators including overseeing activities in a production area to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives.

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet production targets.
• Maintain lean manufacturing principles, including Kaizen and 6S to optimize workflow and minimize waste.
• Lead and motivate a team of Manufacturing specialist fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team to enhance their skills, performance and high level of discipline.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
