Job summary

Seagate Technology in Singapore is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Recording Media Operations team. You will directly supervise Operators and oversee daily manufacturing to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.

You will drive lean manufacturing with Kaizen and 6S, coach a team, provide feedback, and collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency while ensuring a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising manufacturing operations.
• Experience in cleanroom environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet efficiency and quality standards.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing to meet targets.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 6S) to minimize waste.
• Lead and motivate a team of Manufacturing specialists for teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Coach and guide the team to enhance skills, performance and discipline.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall efficiency.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and keep a safe working environment.
