Job summary

FUKUYAMA ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Construction Supervisor in Singapore. In this role, you will supervise and coordinate activities of the tunnel construction crew to ensure work is performed safely according to the schedule.

Your responsibilities include managing site workers, troubleshooting issues, and providing hands-on training for tunneling activities. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in related fields is required.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate activities of tunnel construction crew engaged in sinking shafts, boring tunnels, placing tunnel segments, moving shield forward, and excavating in front of shield.
2. Determine spacing, alignment, and depth of blast holes.
3. Assist and support Engineers in carrying out works as assigned, and ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance with relevant regulations.
4. Manage and supervise site workers for each shift.
5. Ensure completion of work in accordance with the main contractor program and requirements safely with no accidents and incidents.
6. Troubleshoot and submit in‑house reports.
7. Know how to provide hands‑on training for erecting segments and ring building, etc.
8. Be able to work shifts (day and night).
9. Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in supervision of temporary works and underground structures or tunnelling.
