Job summary

Gamuda Berhad Singapore Branch is seeking a senior tunneling site engineer to coordinate daily activities with tunnel engineers and crew, supporting planning and execution of tunneling works.

The role requires strong engineering background with at least 8 years in relevant fields and 5+ years in tunneling management, plus proficiency in CAD and MS Office. The incumbent will liaise with design teams and authorities, ensuring QSHE compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in the relevant field.
• At least 5 years of tunneling management experience.
• Fluent with CAD and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day to day site activities with Tunnel Engineers & crew, while supporting Deputy & Tunnel Manager in planning and execution of tunneling activities.
• Manage site technical matters and resolve construction issues using sound engineering principles.
• Plan work, manpower and resources to meet project schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, surveyors, tunnel operations and consultants.
• Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to the Tunnel Manager / Deputy Tunnel Manager.
• Ensure construction works comply with QSHE requirements and approved procedures.
• Prepare site reports, method statements, material submissions, drawings and permit-to-work documents
• Liaise with Design & Technical teams and relevant authorities for drawings, permits and approvals.
• Attend progress meetings and prepare minutes.
