Job summary

BMR ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to plan and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring projects meet timelines.

You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to execute plans, supervise crews, enforce safety, and maintain quality while tracking progress and budget. This role is based on-site in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to meet project timelines
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to the construction schedule
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other main contractor to ensure smooth project execution
• Lead, supervise, and motivate construction teams, including skilled and unskilled labor
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to workers and subcontractors, ensuring efficient resource utilization
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, addressing any performance issues as needed
• Ensure that construction work meets the required quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify any defects or deviations from project specifications
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site
• Identify and address potential safety hazards, implementing corrective measures as necessary
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of construction materials and equipment
• Manage inventory and oversee proper storage and handling of materials on-site
• Monitor project expenses and work closely with the project manager to stay within budget
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of project progress, including daily reports, work logs, and any changes made to the original plans
