Job summary

UTC Management Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated PPVC Construction Coordinator to assist the Project Manager by planning construction activities and assessing project duration.

You will supervise on-site PPVC work, coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors for efficient execution, and ensure progress aligns with schedules and safety standards. Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction, Building, or related discipline.
• Certifications in construction management or WSH are a plus.
• Minimum experience in PPVC construction.
• Knowledge of PPVC methods, site coordination and installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning construction activities, assessing project duration, and identifying opportunities to optimize construction methods, reduce costs, and fast-track PPVC works.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site PPVC construction activities, including the deployment of manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules, specifications, and quality standards, and report work status, achievements, and potential delays to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate site meetings with subcontractors and workers, communicate work requirements and project changes, and ensure proper implementation of approved plans and instructions.
• Resolve site-related operational and construction issues and escalate matters requiring management or technical decisions to the Project Manager.
• Assist in the procurement and coordination of materials required for PPVC construction works to support timely project completion.
• Ensure PPVC installation and construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Apply specialized knowledge and practical experience in PPVC construction to coordinate site operations, improve construction efficiency, resolve technical issues, and support the timely and successful completion of projects.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to support overall project execution and team objectives

Job Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction, Building, or a related technical discipline.
2. Relevant certifications in construction management, project management, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), or related fields will be an advantage.
3. Minimum relevant experience in PPVC construction is required.
4. Strong knowledge of PPVC construction methods, site coordination, installation processes, and construction practices.
5. Relevant driving license and ability to coordinate the use of construction equipment and resources on site.
6. Strong planning, leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to work effectively with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to achieve project objectives.
