Job summary

SUCCESS HORIZON PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities on site. You will coordinate workers and subcontractors, plan manpower, and ensure work follows drawings, specs, and schedules while upholding safety standards.

You must read drawings, coordinate trades, and report progress to management. Minimum 1 year in construction; safety certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction, renovation or building works.
• Experience in site supervision and manpower coordination.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and site instructions.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and site practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure work is carried out according to project requirements, drawings and schedule.
• Manage and monitor workers, subcontractors and site manpower.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, suppliers and other contractors on site matters.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor workmanship and conduct regular site inspections.
• Coordinate different trades, including tiling, plastering, rebar, welding, installation and general construction works.
• Plan daily manpower allocation and work schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Check materials, tools and equipment required for site works.
• Monitor workers' attendance, productivity and work performance.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the relevant parties to resolve them promptly.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a safe and organised work environment.
• Enforce workplace safety requirements and ensure workers follow site safety rules.
• Prepare daily progress updates, site reports and records where required.
• Take measurements and assist with checking completed works and quantities.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on work progress and manpower requirements.
• Perform other site-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or night shifts when required.
• Relevant construction safety certifications are an advantage.
