Job summary

SG ASIA ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable construction project coordinator to oversee administration, procurement, and contractor coordination on multiple sites.

You will maintain project administration in a correct and timely manner, order materials and equipment, and ensure permits are in place. The role includes selecting, orienting, and training staff, supervising subcontractors, tracking expenditures, and ensuring compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• Project management exposure in construction environments
• Knowledge of safety norms and building codes
• Budget tracking and cost control experience

Responsibilities

• Maintains project administration in a correct and timely manner.
• Orders materials and equipment and takes care of the necessary permits.
• Accomplishes construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Assesses safety and finance goals.
• Manages sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting contractors.
• Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews.
• Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures.
• Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope.
• Approves construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases.
• Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.
• Maintains a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.
• Need to manage construction workers efficiently and monitor the progress closely.
• Able to work in any shifts and in holidays, if required for any project urgency.
