Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Student Support Mentor to run the After-School Drop-In Centre, organize daily activities, build positive relationships with students, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

You will monitor attendance and movement, plan twice-weekly programmes for groups of about 20 students, support teachers with Life Skills lessons, and provide individual or small-group mentoring, documenting wellbeing and escalating concerns when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma required and 3 years of experience working with youth, preferably in educational or social service settings.
• Experience in educational or social service settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt activities to students' learning and behavioural needs.

Responsibilities

• Run the centre and organise daily activities.

• Supervise students during practical and outdoor activities while ensuring safety.
• Build trusting relationships with students requiring additional support.
• Conduct regular one-to-one or small-group check-ins.
• Set simple developmental goals and monitor progress.
• Document students' wellbeing and development.
• Escalate concerns to teachers, Year Heads or the Student Support Team when necessary.

Job Scope:

Skills-BasedProgramme Delivery

• Plan and conduct twice-weekly programmes for groups of around 20 students.
• Develop practical, engaging activities based on students' interests and abilities.
• Track participation and progress.
• Activities may include sports, crafts, music, digital media, photography/video editing, board games and strategy games.

Life Skills Programme Support

• Assist teachers in planning and conducting weekly Life Skills lessons.
• Prepare materials and equipment.
• Adapt activities to students' learning and behavioural needs.
• Supervise students during practical and outdoor activities while ensuring safety.

Individual& Small-Group Mentoring

• Build trusting relationships with students requiring additional support.
• Conduct regular one-to-one or small-group check-ins.
• Set simple developmental goals and monitor progress.
• Document students' wellbeing and development.
• Escalate concerns to teachers, Year Heads or the Student Support Team when necessary.

Duration of Service

Contract period: 14 September 2026 to 19 November2027

(14 months excluding December 2026)

Personnel to be deployed at thefollowing hours:

·Mondaysto Fridays: 9:30 am to 4.30 pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break

·Servicenot required on Saturdays, Sundays, school holidays and gazetted publicholidays
