Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a Student Support Mentor to support students with learning, behavioural and socio-emotional needs. The role works closely with School Leaders and the Student Well-Being and Support Team to create a safe, inclusive environment after school hours.
The position runs from 14 September 2026 to 19 November 2027, Mondays to Fridays 9.30 am to 4.30 pm with a 30-minute lunch, and no work on weekends or public holidays.
Contract Period: From 14 September 2026 to 19 November 2027.(14 months excluding December 2026)
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
* Mondays to Fridays: 9.30 am to 4.30 pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
* Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, school holidays and gazetted public holidays
The Student Support Mentor plays a key role within the Student Support Department in supporting students with learning, behavioural and socio-emotional needs. This work is done in close partnership with School Leaders and the Student Well-Being and Support Team.
Candidate should be able to connect with students as a trusted figure whom they can relate to, while playing the role of a steady and responsible adult who can help them build confidence and set goals that they can work towards. Category Requirement
Patience and a genuine passion for student mentorship.
Preferably to have 3 years of experience working with youth, preferably in an educational or social service setting.
Preferably to have Diploma qualification.
Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Possess very good interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with colleagues, students and parents.
Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and tracking student progress.
