Job summary

MindSpace | DNC Education invites a committed Student Care Teacher to support primary students in Clementi, Toa Payoh and surrounding areas. The role focuses on after-school learning, enrichment sessions, and guiding children through homework with patient, positive instruction.

You will work full-time, five-and-a-half days, with occasional Saturdays. A relevant teaching qualification and MOE syllabus familiarity are preferred, with competitive monthly pay and a caring, collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching primary school in school, student care, tuition or enrichment settings.
• Relevant teaching qualification or certification (education/teaching/student care).
• Confident teaching at least two primary subjects with MOE syllabus knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Make learning click by guiding Primary 1–6 students with homework and explaining concepts clearly.
• Bring lessons to life with engaging enrichment sessions and hands-on activities.
• Be a steady guide, fostering kindness, confidence and responsibility in class.
• Keep children safe, supervise routines and support safe transfers when needed.
• Share progress updates with parents and collaborate with the Centre Manager and colleagues.
• Prepare teaching resources and maintain a welcoming classroom environment.

S$2,500-S$3,500per month depending on relevant qualifications and experience.

Full-time | 5.5-day work week, usually scheduled across five weekdays. Occasional Saturday work is required when needed.

We're looking for committed, reliable and caring Student Care Teachers who enjoy teaching primary school children and bringing positive energy into their day.

Your afternoons with us

• Make learning click. Guide Primary 1-6students with homework, explain concepts clearly and help them build confident, independent learning habits.
• Bring lessons to life. Teach primary school subjects and lead engaging enrichment sessions, hands-on activities and school holiday programmes.
• Be their steady guide. Encourage kindness, confidence and responsibility through patient, positive classroom management.
• Keep children safe and cared for. Supervise daily routines and support safe school-to-centre transfers where required.
• Connect with parents. Share thoughtful updates on children's progress, achievements and areas needing support.
• Be a teammate others can count on. Prepare teaching resources, keep the classroom welcoming and work closely with your Centre Manager and fellow teachers.

What you bring

• Relevant experience teaching primary school children in a school, student care, tuition or enrichment setting.
• A relevant teaching qualification or certification, such as in education, teaching or student care.
• Confidence teaching at least two primary school subjects: English, Mathematics, Science or Chinese, with familiarity with the Singapore MOE syllabus.
• Dependability, punctuality and commitment to providing children with consistent care and guidance.
• Patience, warmth and clear communication with children, parents and colleagues.
• Enthusiasm for sharing ideas, getting creative and helping children discover what they can do.
• MOE teaching experience and WSQ student care certification are welcome advantages.
