Job summary

DTRIDENT EDUCATION PTE. LTD. is seeking a committed Student Care Teacher to support Primary 1–6 students in the afternoons at MindSpace, Tampines Pasir Ris. You will guide homework, teach core subjects and help children build confident, independent learning habits.

This full-time role with a 5.5-day work week includes occasional Saturdays. If you bring patience, warmth and reliable care, we’d love to meet you.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience teaching primary school children in schools, student care, tuition or enrichment settings.
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification or certification.
• Able to teach at least two primary school subjects with familiarity with the MOE syllabus.
• Dependable, punctual and committed to providing children with consistent care and guidance.
• Bring patience, warmth and clear communication to relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Enjoy sharing ideas, getting creative and helping children discover what they can do.

Responsibilities

• Guide Primary 1–6 students with homework, explain concepts clearly and help them build confident, independent learning habits.
• Teach primary school subjects and lead engaging enrichment sessions, hands-on activities and school holiday programmes.
• Encourage kindness, confidence and responsibility through patient, positive classroom management.
• Supervise daily routines and support safe transfers between school and centre.
• Share updates on children’s progress, achievements and areas needing support with parents.
• Prepare teaching resources and collaborate with Centre Manager and fellow teachers.

Student Care Teacher — Make Afternoons Matter!

MindSpace | Tampines Pasir Ris

Salary: S$2,500–S$3,500 per month, depending on relevant qualifications and experience.

Full-time | 5.5-day work week, usually scheduled across five weekdays. Occasional Saturday work is required when needed.

YOU’LL FIT RIGHT IN IF YOU…

• Have relevant experience teaching primary school children in a school, student care, tuition or enrichment setting.
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification or certification, such as in education, teaching or student care.
• Can confidently teach at least two primary school subjects: English, Mathematics, Science or Chinese, with familiarity with the Singapore MOE syllabus.
• Are dependable, punctual and committed to providing children with consistent care and guidance.
• Bring patience, warmth and clear communication to your relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Enjoy sharing ideas, getting creative and helping children discover what they can do.

MOE teaching experience and WSQ student care certification are welcome advantages.
