Job summary

Talents@Work Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a dedicated educator to supervise and support students in a private student care centre on Dover. The role involves guiding homework, facilitating enrichment activities, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Education, strong English and Chinese language skills, and familiarity with the MOE syllabus for primary levels. Training and career progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in any Education related field.
• Experience with primary school children in student care, preschool, or tuition centres.
• Strong English proficiency for English teaching; Chinese for Chinese-focused teaching.
• Ability to teach English / Science / Mathematics / Chinese to primary levels.
• Familiar with MOE syllabus.
• Good interpersonal and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure well-being, safety, and discipline of students.
• Provide guidance and support with homework and assignments.

Job Description

• Provide guidance and support to students in completing their school homework and assignments
• Facilitate learning and enrichment activities that promote character development and life skills
• Conduct activities and lessons with a focus on English language , Chinese language , Mathematics and Science depending on teaching strength
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive environment
• Communicate with parents/guardians on students' progress when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in any Education related fields
• Prior experience working with primary school children in student care, preschool or tuition / enrichment centres
• Strong proficiency in English for English-focused teaching and Chinese for Chinese-focused teaching, to guide students effectively
• Ability to teach subjects ranging from English / Science / Mathematics / Chinese for primary levels
• Familiar with and knowledgeable about the current MOE syllabus
• Good interpersonal and classroom management skills
