Job summary

Talents@Work Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a dedicated educator to supervise and support students in a private student care centre on Dover. The role involves guiding homework, facilitating enrichment activities, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Degree in Education, strong English and Chinese language skills, and familiarity with the MOE syllabus for primary levels. Training and career progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in any Education related field.
• Experience with primary school children in student care, preschool, or tuition centres.
• Strong English proficiency for English teaching; Chinese for Chinese-focused teaching.
• Ability to teach English / Science / Mathematics / Chinese to primary levels.
• Familiar with MOE syllabus.
• Good interpersonal and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure well-being, safety, and discipline of students.
• Provide guidance and support with homework and assignments.
• Facilitate learning and enrichment activities focusing on character development and life skills.
• Conduct lessons in English, Chinese, Mathematics and Science depending on teaching strength.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive environment.
• Communicate with parents/guardians on students' progress when necessary.
