Job summary

The School of Concepts PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an engaging educator to plan and deliver lessons, supervise daily homework, and monitor student progress. This in-person role includes spelling tests in English and Mother Tongue, safe student transfers to the centre, and regular updates to parents.

Applicants will combine instructional duties with administrative tasks to maintain centre operations, working 40–44 hours weekly, with occasional Saturdays during term and holidays.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver lessons.
• Coach, supervise and ensure completion of daily school homework.
• Conduct spelling practice and tests for English and Mother tongue.
• Ensure safe and timely transfer of students from school to student centre.
• Monitor and track students' progress.
• Engage and provide regular updates to parents/guardians on progress and behaviour.
• Mark students' work.
• Perform administrative duties and upkeep of centre premises.

Job description

Pay: 1,800.00 (SGD)-2,400.00 (SGD) per month

Job Description:

• Plan and deliver lessons
• Coach, supervise and ensure completion of daily school homework
• Conduct practices and tests for spelling (English and Mother tongue)
• Ensure safe and timely transfer of students from school to student centre, including pick-ups from nearby schools
• Monitor and track the progress of students
• Engage and provide regular update to parents and/or guardians on students' progress and behaviour
• Mark students' work
• Perform administrative duties and ensure upkeep of centre premises
• Other duties as may be assigned by Centre Supervisor

Working Hours:

• 40-44hrs work week
• School holidays: Weekdays, 7am-8pm
• School term: Weekdays, 11am-8pm
• Occasionally required to work on saturdays
