Job summary

PRO-TEACH SCHOOLCARE (SOUTH VIEW) in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Student Care Teacher who enjoys guiding primary school children in a warm, constructive learning environment. Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification.
• Relevant certification or diploma in Education, Student Care, Childcare, or related field is an advantage.
• Experience in student care, childcare, education, or related field is preferred.
• Familiar with the Singapore primary school syllabus.
• Patient, responsible, caring and comfortable working with children.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and planning of the student care centre.
• Handle administrative matters involving students and parents, including addressing behavioural concerns.
• Plan, organise, and supervise student activities such as field trips, group activities, and daily programmes.
• Guide and support students with homework, spelling, revision, and other schoolwork.
• Teach Primary 1 to Primary 5 academic subjects when required.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for students.
• Work closely and communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues.
• Demonstrate strong attendance, punctuality, responsibility, and reliability in daily duties.
