• Supervise and ensure safety of Primary 1-6 students.

• Maintain regular communication with parents and staff.
• Design engaging activities including arts, crafts, sports, and educational games.

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Student Care Educators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for Primary 1-6 students. You will support their social, emotional, and academic development, fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Safety

• Fetching students from nearby schools and bus-stop safely.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Monitor activities and provide appropriate guidance.

Academic & Holistic Support

• Provide guidance on daily school homework, spelling and assignments.
• Conduct enrichment programmes according to our syllabus that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Encourage a love for learning.

Behaviour Management

• Foster positive behavior and social skills.
• Promote a safe and inclusive environment where students can learn and develop their social skills.
• Serve as an inspiring role model and engage students in meaningful conversations.

Communication

• Maintain professional and regular communication with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress and any concerns.

Program Development

• Design and implement engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and teamwork, including arts and crafts, sports, and educational games.

Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance.

Others

• Ensure that the centre's facilities and materials are well-maintained.
• Sanitise and maintain good classroom hygiene and cleanliness.
• Manage other administrative & operational duties.

Requirements

• Experience working with students in a classroom setting.
• Familiar with school syllabus.
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive environment.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Monday to Friday.
• School Term: 1pm-7pm
• School Holidays: 7:30am-4:30pm / 10am-7pm
