Job summary

Responsibilities

• Centre Operations: Manage daily centre operations, including staff deployment, manpower planning, logistics and upkeep of a safe, clean, and organised learning environment.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and motivate student care staff, providing guidance on classroom management, programme delivery and student wellbeing.
• Teaching and Homework Guidance: Supervise Primary 1-6 students, guide daily homework and develop independent learning skills and positive study habits.
• Programme Delivery: Plan and conduct engaging learning, recreational and character development activities in line with curriculum and guidelines.
• Student Care and Safety: Oversee daily routines and wellbeing, ensure safe transfers from school to centre, and manage behavioural concerns.
• Parent and School Engagement: Maintain regular communication with parents, guardians, schools and HQ on progress and centre matters.
• Enrolment and Fee Administration: Handle inquiries, enrolments, withdrawals, fee collection, and fee assistance where applicable.
• Records and Reporting: Maintain student profiles, attendance, and financial documentation; submit required forms and reports.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated Student Care Centre Manager cum Teacher to oversee daily centre operations while taking an active role in guiding and caring for primary school students. You will lead the centre team, maintain strong relationships with parents and support a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and develop.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Centre Operations: Manage daily centre operations, including staff deployment, manpower planning, logistics and the upkeep of a safe, clean and organised learning environment.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and motivate student care staff, providing guidance on classroom management, programme delivery and student wellbeing.
• Teaching and Homework Guidance: Supervise Primary 1-6 students, guide them in completing daily homework and support the development of independent learning skills and positive study habits.
• Programme Delivery: Plan and conduct engaging learning, recreational and character development activities in line with the centre's curriculum and programme guidelines.
• Student Care and Safety: Oversee students daily routines and wellbeing, ensure safe and timely transfers from school to the centre, and manage behavioural concerns through positive reinforcement and appropriate conflict resolution.
• Parent and School Engagement: Maintain regular communication with parents, guardians, schools and headquarters on students progress, behaviour and centre matters. Address enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Enrolment and Fee Administration: Handle prospective parent enquiries, enrolment applications, withdrawals, fee collection and follow-up on outstanding payments. Coordinate fee assistance applications where applicable.
• Records and Reporting: Maintain accurate student profiles, attendance records and financial documentation, ensure timely submission of required forms and reports, and support other centre-related duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Degree qualification in Education or a related discipline preferred.
• Relevant experience in student care, education or centre operations prior supervisory or team leadership experience would be an advantage.
• Patient, responsible and approachable, with a passion for working with children and supporting their academic, social and emotional development.
