Job summary

Macquarie, a global financial services group, is seeking a candidate to strengthen and expand the distribution of structured warrants to retail clients in Singapore. You will proactively generate new leads and distribution channels, building long-term relationships with brokers, advisors and investors with a collaborative approach to drive product sales.

You will stay informed on local and foreign market news, contribute content for social media, and assist in structuring new warrants based on

• Experience in financial markets sales, preferably equities/derivatives.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships with strong communication skills.
• Public speaking experience considered an asset.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for strengthening and expanding the distribution coverage of our structured warrants to retail clients. As a passionate relationship builder, you will drive sales proactively by exploring and generating new leads and distribution channels, build long term relationships with and provide a high level of service to brokers, advisors and investors with a nimble and collaborative approach, and apply your negotiation skills to ultimately drive product sales.

By staying up to date on the local and foreign market news, you will add value to relationships, produce content for our social media platforms, and assist in the structuring of new warrants based on investor feedback or market behaviour.

What you offer

• Existing experience and a proven track record in a financial markets sales role, preferably in equities and/or derivatives
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships with strong communication skills and experience in public speaking
• A team player with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently
• Self-motivated, high energy analytical lateral thinker with a can-do attitude, passion in financial markets, strong drive to succeed and willingness to learn
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English. Additional language capability in Mandarin is an advantage.
