Job summary

HSBC Global Private Banking seeks a Structured Product Specialist to advise on structured products for Private Banking and Premier clients, translating objectives into suitable structures with clear risk/return trade-offs.

The role partners with frontline and control functions to originate, price, and execute across asset classes, driving end-to-end development, governance, and platform improvements in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured products or derivatives across asset classes.
• Strong governance, suitability and regulatory documentation.
• Ability to translate client objectives into structures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured products advisory and solutioning for Private Banking clients, translating objectives into suitable structures.
• Partner with RMs/ICs/CSEs to originate, price and execute structured products and OTC options.
• Drive end-to-end product development and lifecycle management (idea generation, approvals, launch readiness).
• Maintain governance and risk discipline across the product lifecycle, ensuring suitability and documentation quality.
• Deliver market insights, trade rationales and investment commentaries to support positioning.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and provide recommendations where permitted.
• Ensure accurate booking, confirmations, audit trail and escalation of issues.
