Job summary

SIAM ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking skilled Structural Steel Erectors to join our growing construction team on ongoing commercial and industrial projects.

You will install, align, and secure steel components according to blueprints and specifications while coordinating with boom lifts and rigging on on-site operations. Safety comes first: read drawings, follow job-site procedures, and work at heights in all weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in structural steel erection.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layout plans.
• Comfortable working at heights and on active construction sites.
• Strong understanding of job site safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Install and align structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications
• Work with boom lift, Scaffolding , rigging, and heavy lifting equipment
• Secure steel beams, columns, and trusses using bolts and/or welding
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards
• Collaborate with foremen, site supervisors, and other trades on-site

• Install and align structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications
• Work with boom lift, Scaffolding , rigging, and heavy lifting equipment
• Secure steel beams, columns, and trusses using bolts and/or welding
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards
• Collaborate with foremen, site supervisors, and other trades on-site
• Previous experience in structural steel erection (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layout plans
• Comfortable working at heights and on active construction sites
• Strong understanding of job site safety practices (fall protection, PPE, etc.)
• Must be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
