Job summary

TTW Singapore is seeking a Structural Engineer to deliver innovative structural solutions across diverse projects. You will work with a collaborative team, apply engineering principles, prepare designs and client reports, and liaise with drafters and consultants to meet schedule and budget.

The role requires a degree recognized by the Singapore PE Board and at least 2 years’ experience, plus strong communication, detail-orientation, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering recognised by the Singapore PE Board.
2+ years’ experience in engineering.
Proactive attitude and excellent team spirit.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Self-motivated with limited supervision.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Proficiency in standard engineering design software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Apply engineering principles to devise practical, economical and innovative solutions.
Produce designs, documentation, specifications, and reports.
Prepare client reports and updates.
Contribute to project planning and manage resources to meet schedule and budget.
Coordinate with drafters and consultants for design documentation and submissions.
Represent the company professionally with clients and other consultants.
Attend technical/site meetings as required.

We’re looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Singapore team. In this role, you'll be involved in delivering innovative and technically challenging structural solutions across a variety of projects.

Additionally, in this role you will:

Applies a robust understanding of engineering principles to devise and deliver practical, economical and innovative solutions to problems
Produces designs, documentation, specifications, reports and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity under the guidance of senior staff
Prepares client reports, presentations and updates
Contributes to project planning and ensures their work is delivered within programme and budget
Liaises with drafters to enable preparation of design documentation
Represents the company professionally with client representatives and other consultants
Interprets and communicates information effectively to different stakeholders
Takes appropriate responsibility for the planning and management of resources for the delivery of small or medium projects, or aspects of larger projects, including technical outcomes and adherence to project schedule/timelines
Ensures compliance with applicable Codes, local authorities’ requirements and policies including WHS practices and Quality Assurance
Coordinates with clients and other consultants on design, construction, and submission aspects of projects
Attends technical / site meetings as required

Who we are looking for

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering recognised by the Singapore PE Board
At least 2 years’ experience in engineering

Willingness and ability to advance own career including remaining up to date with advancements in discipline related engineering methodologies

What will make you stand out

Working towards Professional Engineers Certificate (PE)
Working towards Chartership with a Professional Institution (IStructE, ICE or Engineers Australia)
Construction engineering or temporary works design
Workflow automation and digital design skills (e.g. Python/Rhino/Grasshopper)
Effective integration of Artificial intelligence technologies into engineering design and delivery
Knowledge of BIM/production software and drafting processes/standards
ISO 19650 or Information Management credentials
Conversant with Singapore standard quality implementation, regulatory requirements, submission procedures and platforms
