Job summary

STRYDE Athletic in Singapore is seeking a dedicated youth strength and conditioning coach for ages 7–12 within our Multi-Sport and Specialist Edge tracks. You will work with coaching staff to deliver sessions, observe progress, and provide parent-facing feedback using STRYDE’s systems.

Applicants should hold a degree in sports science, S&C certs, current First Aid/CPR, and at least 3 years coaching youth. LTAD and ASM framework experience is required, with a proven ability to run group sessions

Qualifications

  • Degree in Sports Science or equivalent from a recognised institution.
  • Certification in Strength & Conditioning from ASCC, CSCS, NSCA-CSCS, BASES, UKSCA, ESSA or equivalent with numbers verified at interview.
  • Current first aid and CPR certification.
  • Minimum 3 years coaching youth athletes under 16.
  • Experience applying LTAD and ASM frameworks in coaching.
  • Proven ability to design and run physical assessment batteries for youth athletes.
  • Experience coaching groups of 10+ children in a single session.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver strength and conditioning sessions tailored to developmental stages for children aged 7 to 12 within established program structures.
  • Design and implement personalised programs for Specialist Edge alongside multisport progression tracks.
  • Coach mixed-age, mixed-ability groups safely using a station-based model.
  • Assess athlete movement quality in real time and adjust training load accordingly.
  • Write clear, specific, and direct parent-facing observations after each session to communicate athlete progress.
  • Communicate with parents through the STRYDE register using precise and transparent language.
  • Collaborate with coaching staff to align session delivery with program goals and athlete development models.
  • Participate in coach review sessions and adapt coaching practices based on feedback.
  • Maintain reliability and professionalism to build and sustain parent trust.

  • Collaborate with coaching staff to align session delivery with program goals and athlete development models
  • Participate in coach review sessions and adapt coaching practices based on feedback
  • Maintain reliability and professionalism to build and sustain parent trust
Required competencies and certifications
  • Degree in Sports Science, Exercise Science, or equivalent from a recognised institution
  • Certification in Strength & Conditioning from ASCC, CSCS, NSCA-CSCS, BASES, UKSCA, ESSA, or equivalent national federation, with certification numbers verified at interview
  • Current first aid and CPR certification
  • Minimum 3 years coaching youth athletes under 16 years old
  • Experience applying Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD) and Athletic Skills Model (ASM) frameworks in coaching
  • Proven ability to design and run physical assessment batteries for youth athletes
  • Experience coaching groups of 10 or more children in a single session
